I had been through treatment 3 times prior to starting their outpatient treatment. I had good experiences at other centers but wasn’t ready to quit. So, while the others were helpful this is the place that helped me begin my road to recovery. I’ve been sober almost 4 years thanks to the team teaching, listening and caring. While a portion of the patients are court ordered and seemingly not serious about getting clean there are also a number of people who want it just as bad as you. Like with any treatment program, the person has to want to get sober more than anything and be willing to put their sobriety first in order to succeed. Sobriety is aided by the facility but ultimately dependent on the addicts. All you need is honesty, open mindedness and willingness right?

Good people, this clinic saved my life. I did go through 2 counselors before I was connected with the counselor that made me work hard. Once that happened I started seeing light at the end of the tunnel. 2 years later I took my last dose of methadone and never looked back. It does take time. There is no magic bullet treatment. You have to want to get clean to get clean but the right counselor made that difference for me. If anyone struggling reads this just know that it is possible to get your life back. I’m living proof of that! Godspeed…..
