Greenhouse Treatment Center
Greenhouse was a great experience! Near every therapist was very knowledgeable, experienced, and caring. Even the TAs and nurses showed care and knowledge. The food is solid, and always a healthy option. The housekeeping staff was efficiently, and detailed and kind. Improvements that could be made would be time shift changes for nurses, making it earlier, or later. Specifically shift change occurs around 7:30 and ends at 8:00, and classes start at 8:30, this causes delays and interruptions in classes and long lines to form. Another improvement would be for the therapists to ensure they know which module they are teaching. For example, module 1 and module 3 of some classes was the exact same, causing considerable redundancy near the end of a stay, each module should be separate with some commonalities. For the vast majority, Greenhouse was excellent, I am leaving a very different person than when I came in, both in spirit and knowledge. I was amazed at how much knowledge I acquired here, both about the brain and therapy techniques.
