My wife spent six weeks at the Synergy House and it has changed our lives my wife is doing so much better now. While there they helped her wean off a medication that the Dr insisted she stay on and since being off of it she feels better and has her life back again. I can't say enough about the Synergy House and the staff there it was a fantastic place for my wife to be and pleasant to visit on the days we could. This place is top notch.
Strengths: Clean, organized, friendly staff, integrated treatment, many options offered, affordable for non-insured clients, transitional housing offered. Weaknesses: I think that they tried their best in my case/experience but my loved one was trusted too much, too soon. I think that they were too quick to judge his character,as he is a very convincing manipulative individual when he needs to be. It is wonderful for anyone who needs immediate help. They were excellent and timely in getting my loved one in the program quickly, without insurance. However, it is loosely supervised, and may not be right for a person who is needing closely supervised detox and long-term treatment.
Professional, knowledgeable, and caring is what I would best describe the staff at Northbound Treatment Services. They understand the disease of addiction and work tirelessly with clients and their families to a better life. I would recommend Northbound to anyone who is, or knows someone who is suffering from addiction. There is a way out, and Northbound helped get me there.
