Oxford treatment center is a very unique facility and I truly admire the scenery because its nature at its finest. All of the staff have been welcoming and supportive and they always take time to listen to me. Mr Hank is amazing and so is Mr Barry and his 12 step lectures. Ms Hannah in music is the best.
A wonderful relaxing treatment center where adults are treated as adults. A compassionate and trained staff with a serene facility. It is has only 12 beds which makes for more one on one time. Sometimes clients that aren’t serious about recovery are not shown the door fast enough but that is in an attempt to help them find the way.
I arrived at the Etta facility having already been through detox at a hospital in Gulfport, MS. I spent two days in quarantine pending results of a COVID test, which I get. The result was negative but I was held there an additional two days without explanation. I received no therapy or counseling during this time. Remember, I was not in detox status. On my second day there I was given a PPD skin test screening for TB exposure. No one ever read the result or discussed it with me. My insurance company was charged however. The staff at Etta was generally pleasant and seemed to care about clinical matters. They are however quite disconnected from communication perspective both internally and externally. I believe my insurance carrier should not have been billed for those useless two days or the TB test.
