Verify your coverageThe experience there I know opened the door for me to go in this direction, I learned a lot of coping skills and tools so I didn't put my self back into a situation that I would regret. The staff there was a amazing and eating healthy and exercising all helped to transform me from what I was living like to someone functioning in society clean and sober.
The best thing about Mercy is that SOME of the staff are very helpful, (while others have no idea what they're doing.) They do make it easy to treat a substance abuse issue simultaneously with other mental health issues and, (depending on WHO you work with,) the staff can be very effective at creating and assisting you to complete your treatment plans. More than half of the staff, either doesn't know how to do their job or they try to do a job that they're not qualified for. They will kick you out randomly, for little to no reason at all. If you relapse, instead of helping you when you need it, they will discharge you. Most of the staff are rude, but the worst thing about this place is that they closed down so they don't offer services anymore, such as prescriptions (that I need,) although they did help refer me to a new doctor. This place is closed down now, so inorder to get assistance with your substance abuse issue, you will have to travel far away to participate in an in-patient or out-patient rehab facility, OR you'll have to pay out the A*s for a private doctor.
Personalized treatment. I was here for over a week and found it very helpful. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that they set me up with a counselor after discharge to make sure that everything achieved during that week was maintained.
There is no obligation to enter treatment and you can opt out at any time.
