Windmill Wellness Ranch
I loved this facility with the exception of my counselor. He led my process group 3 days out of the week. He talks too much & he doesn�t seem to fully understand substance abuse/addiction. I didn�t agree with a majority of the things he chose to discuss during groups or his process groups. He was unorganized & would ask me the same questions over & over. He waited until the last minute to complete my discharge paperwork & even forgot to get my signature. I was flying out that morning. He�s a nice guy and means well, but I wish I had requested a different counselor earlier on at my stay there. The other counselors and staff are phenomenal. The ranch is set on beautiful land. Accommodations were great as well. PrTMS was very beneficial for me, although it is extremely expensive. Overall it was a great atmosphere and I�m very grateful I got the opportunity to go there. Great treatment opportunities. Great staff available for working the steps. Cleaning crew & meals provided. Allow clients to use phones every day. My specific counselor. Ranch is located so far out that it was strenuous going to outside meetings in San Antonio. Also they seem to be very understaffed as well.

The Ranch at Dove Tree
I stayed at the Ranch at Dove Tree this past June, I cannot say enough positive things about this facility. The staff was caring and phenomenal, and provided access to outside meetings, as well as nightly meetings in house so that you can find a sponsor that meets your needs. The food is amazing and the kitchen staff is always so accommodating. If you are looking for help for yourself, or for a loved one, this is the place to go!
