We basically did not know what to expect as our son entered Serenity View for the 30 day rehab. Our first conversation with him was most uplifting and enlightening on how well he had adapted and accepted the professional help from the counselors and staff there. Their informative emails and availability to communicate what he was learning were a tremendous tool to help better understand what was included in his care. The research materials provided were also a valuable tool for us to learn how this disease affects all of those close to him and how to deal with the situation.
Serenity View offers a Family Weekend of 3 full days of sessions pertaining to understanding better what the individuals are dealing with, how to cope and what to expect in recovery. It is a group/one on one with your loved one that you will find very emotional but so rewarding for your family. I encourage anyone who has a loved one in rehab to participate. I commend the staff at Serenity View for the support and foundation that they have provided for my son and our entire family.

Resolutions’ connections with some of AAC’s state-of-the-art facilities, like Greenhouse Treatment Center, allows staff can provide residents with a high quality of care, without impeding the resident’s daily routines.
From Monday-Friday, patients will participate in programming that is designed to help them continue moving forward with their recovery goals. We understand that given the nature of outpatient programs, many patients may still be employed or have responsibilities at home while they receive care. Therefore, we work with each patient to help make appropriate accommodations to their necessary schedules. For example, should a patient need to be on a work call during treatment hours, we ask that they inform their therapist so we can provide them with a quiet space for them to take that call. This is just one of the many ways that we help you balance your work and treatment so that you can achieve long lasting recovery.

I have worked in several different treatment facilities over the last 8 years. Windmill is by far one the best facility I have ever had the opportunity to be employed at. Their modality of treatment, combined with strong ethics is what keeps me coming back. Windmill is driven by compassion for the person who is suffering from substance use disorder. Windmill has a variety of services that extended beyond traditional treatment. Clients have access to a multitude of services that include physical training, yoga, massage, meditation, and cosmetology services. Windmill could strengthen in the area of offering more lean protein options at their meals.

My son spent 30 days in May at this facility and it saved his life - they taught him about addiction, how to deal with it and how to accept it and how to bring these skills home. They saved his life, brought my son back into my life and if you or someone you love are serious about handling addiction -- this is THE place to go. My son is still in constant contact with his counselor , is serious about handling it with AA on a constant basis. I can not say enough good things about this place.
