Banyan Treatment Center is by far one of the best facilities for detox and recovery. All staff were professional and non judgmental. Treatment plans were tailored to the specific need of the client. Nursing staff remained vigilant in ensuring medications, vitals, and the over all health of the client was maintained during the detox process as well as the transition into residential living. I would definitely recommend Banyan Treatment Center to any individual suffering from substance abuse.
Most wonderful facility I have ever encountered. Amazing people who truly care!
They had great staff that understood addiction. Most of the staff were recovering addicts also. They also had the best meals and meetings I've ever been to. I think the only downfall was there wasn't a swimming pool and the counselors weren't very good at their job I felt like they both were very judgmental. I have very few negative things to say about this establishment for they were amazing on helping me get my life back in order. The staff really knew what they were doing and talking about. Everyone there had a great deal of compassion. I would recommend ABC recovery center to anyone that comes in my path.
At El Centro, CA drug addiction treatment centers, addiction is generally considered to be different from substance abuse. Substance abuse is defined as the use of drugs or alcohol in spite of the physical and emotional risks involved. Substance abusers often engage in high-risk behavior, like driving while intoxicated, stealing and having unsafe sex, but they can usually stop drinking or using if they're motivated to quit. At the advanced stages of chemical dependence and addiction, inpatient treatment under medical supervision is often recommended over outpatient treatment, which offers minimal supervision and only partial medical monitoring.
How Do I Know if I'm Addicted? If you want to quit using drugs or alcohol, but all of your attempts are unsuccessful, you may have reached a state of addiction.
