After researching multiple facilities the service and care provided to my loved one was exceptional. Their sincere concern, along with professional expertise, provided an experience that not only saved my family member's life, was beyond what I could have ever expected. The team is exceptional. The professional treatment, the positive surroundings, the home was immaculate, the comraderie and support provided from every team member. This program is exceptional.
The River Source has been a good program for me at this time in my life. It has a variety of treatments, most all of them are mandatory. There is a very heavy emphasis on the 12 step AA program with meetings in house and other outside meetings. 2 people to a room, nice facility, outdoor area with V-Ball, Basketball and dirt track among other things, Yoga a few times a week. Food is definitely adequate. The schedule can be too busy at times, sometimes disorganized, but all the tools are here for shaping a recovery if you want them. The staff is very helpful most of the time and has a lot of addiction experience.
Definitely great at combining 12-step and holistic treatments, it's not an all or nothing approach, and each person is treated uniquely. It's also a pretty affordable facility as well. It's a nice environment in general, but some of the furnishings are a bit dated. This was my 3rd attempt at treatment, and it was way different than the first 2 places I went. From the first day I was treated as a unique individual and was introduced to new recovery approaches in a way that seemed very inviting. They also went beyond just treatment and helped me focus on life issues that were causing me problems too!
