Cliffside Malibu
Addiction affects every person in some way, and my brother\'s addiction was no different. I had been helping my brother with his addiction for years when finally we decided that Cliffside looked promising. The first time we went to Cliffside, we were both immediately blown away by the views, the amenities, and the cheerful staff. After about a month of adjustment to his new situation, my brother began making massive strides not only in kicking his addiction, but also addressing personal issues that had negatively impacted his overall happiness. When visiting, I could instantly tell he was on an upward trajectory, and I had Cliffside to thank for that. I have waited to write this review until after he has checked out for a while in order to better see how the treatments and experiences last with my brother over time. Since checking out of Cliffside, my brother is constantly smiling and a totally different person almost. He is looking at the positives in life more and more, and generally a lot more fun to be around. This is how I know we made the right decision with Cliffside.
Banyan Palm Springs Inpatient
Banyan Treatment Center is by far one of the best facilities for detox and recovery. All staff were professional and non judgmental. Treatment plans were tailored to the specific need of the client. Nursing staff remained vigilant in ensuring medications, vitals, and the over all health of the client was maintained during the detox process as well as the transition into residential living. I would definitely recommend Banyan Treatment Center to any individual suffering from substance abuse.
Northbound Treatment Services
I came to Northbound with a long history of failed attempts at different treatment centers. Some of the places that I went were highly recommended by therapists and other professionals that I had been in contact with. However, I could not seem to STAY sober. I got to Northbound with very little hope or expectations for a different result. For someone that has been through numerous facilities and failed, I was prepared to fail again. Northbound did not let me fail. The process and environment that they use to facilitate treatment was so different than what I had experienced before. Treatment, to me, was something that happened in a hospital setting for 90 days. You would then be shot out into the world with very little ability to cope with real life. Northbound\'s philosophy of allowing the client to experience life, on life\'s terms, and then return to a supportive environment was something I had never experienced. I was allowed to take part in the amazing recovery scene that is Newport Beach while also being provided the accountability of a structured treatment setting. It was everything that I hoped getting sober could be. Today, I am still a part of the local recovery scene and have over 2 years sober. Without Northbound this would have never been possible. I cannot articulate the amount of gratitude and love I have for this program and [staff]. They saved my life and helped me start over.
