Adam received his MA from Pacific Oaks College in 2011. Adam has been a pillar in the Los Angeles recovery community for the last 12 years. For over a decade, Adam triaged the day to day clinical program of one of the nation’s largest non-profits specializing in addiction. Adam has held positions ranging from Family Director, Assistant Clinical Director, and Men and Women’s Program Director. Adam is highly sought out nationwide by programs and families as an interventionist. Adam works closely with our client’s and their families, creating a safe space for recovery. Before beginning his career in medicine, Dr. Jeffrey Gall spent a year and a half on active duty for training in the USMC Reserve, completing Boot Camp at Paris Island and continuing to a course in Ground Radio Repair at 29 Palms, CA. He left the Marines with an Honorable Discharger as a Sergeant (E-5), having served briefly during Operation Desert Storm. Dr. Gall completed his BS in Biology from The George Washington University, and entered medical school at GW, finishing in 2001. Following an internship in 2002 in Internal Medicine at North Shore – NYU in New York, Dr. Gall completed his Emergency Medicine Residency in GWU in 2005, becoming Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine in 2006. Following his residency, he worked at a variety of Locum Tenens jobs in the ER, before accepting a job as Assistant Professor of Medicine with The University of Maryland. He worked in Baltimore City for four years before taking a leave of absence for 6 months to do a training program in Retrieval Medicine in Queensland, Australia. This job involved helicopter and fixed-wing transports of ill patients from remote sites. Since returning from Australia, Dr. Gall has worked in Maryland exclusively, both on the Eastern Shore and with the UM Capital Region Health system in PG County. One thing he’s noticed during his time in emergency departments: Patients who frequently re-visit the ER for substance abuse. His interest in addiction treatment, and for having a good option for intervention to treatment, lead him to Recovery Centers of America. Dr. Gall is also personally attached to substance use disorder treatment, as he has watched family members navigate through a confusing and often frustrating process of treatment and relapse. He is eager to contribute to RCA’s mission of breaking the stigma of addiction and getting patients effective, comprehensive addiction treatment.

Fred A. Trapassi, Jr., began his career with Phoenix House in May of 2000 as Program Director for adolescent residential treatment services at Phoenix House Academy, Wallum Lake. In 2007 he was promoted to Vice President and Senior Program Director for Rhode Island Operations, with direct oversight of 11 programs throughout the state. Fred recently received the 2015 Rhode Island Labor Assistance Professionals Award for providing help and compassionate care to members of the associated unions and their families. Fred has also received the prestigious Jefferson Award for public service to a local community, the Nyswander Dole (Marie) Award for treatment advocacy, and the Brown University Howard K. Swearer Award for his work as a VISTA volunteer and street outreach worker, addressing the needs of runaway youth and the homeless from 1986 to 2000.
