Bonnie has a Master’s of Science in Professional Counseling and has worked with dually diagnosed population for over five years. She began to work in the behavioral health field in 2012 and worked towards obtaining the necessary education to serve a more diverse population. Having struggled with addiction and the influence of that lifestyle for over twelve years, she adds a relational aspect to the therapeutic alliance and gained the necessary education to help others understand the underlying issues associated with their substance use disorders. Bonnie uses an eclectic approach when working with her client’s, because each client is an individual and is in need of a particular modality depending upon their diagnosis. Bonnie aspires to gain a Doctorate of Psychology in order to provide necessary testing to decrease the amount of substance users that go undiagnosed for co-occurring disorders. She strives to help each client reach their full potential by teaching the necessary coping skills to function at a higher level and accomplish their goals.
