Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders

MC is a good trmt ctr. Yes, there are kinks in the program but I’m sure every treatment center has some kinks. Housing is kept clean. Program is good for clients needing to restore wt. Nursing staff was great! In house staff counselors were grt too, some were a little young & immature for some of the responsibilities handed over to them. Seemed to be short staffed for the amount of responsibilities given. My opinion only. I would recommend Mag Creek & I would trust one of my family members to be in the hands @ MC facility. I was there as a patient during Summer, 2019. Chef needed improvement, but food was good. Doctors were good. I have a lot of medical problems & the physical doctor addressed my issues very wise & w/ cautious! My primary therapist was great. Was not impressed w/ Nutritionist. Came across as treating her clients more of a competition to her peers. Very sad she’s in this kind of job to be claiming to try to help others. Magnolia Creek is a good Ed treat center. It’s not a 5 star program but is a good program w/ caring staff, clean housing. They are very HARD on you if you don’t complete your meals and they are discrete ab it. They take your phone time away from you & make you sit @ the table & give you an accountability sheet for not completing all of your food or meals @ end of day. Meals are huge, large & not always accurately measured out for your correct portions. Then they document you for not eating larger amounts that shouldn’t go against you anyways. They have you eating every 2 hours, hungry OR NOT you EAT!

The Lovelady Center

I as in grips of addiction for 30 years. My 1st rehab when I was 15. I came to the Lovelady Center so full of grief, anger and bitterness. I lost everything, I as 47 and I was convinced I as defective wired wrong and just not much hope. But God!!!! The Lovelady Center has equipped with every resource I needed to make that change . But I had to be willing to do the work. Today I am 51 years old. I have 3 years and 11 months clean. I have a peace and joy that I can’t explain. I am in school, I am employed. My relationship with my family has been restored. Definitely hardest process I have ever been threw but also the most rewarding. Once I became open minded enough to learn to do things differently and willing to apply my to my life.... I am a walking talking miracle . I will forever be grateful for the Lovelady center and the Staff . I have never experienced the true love of Christ until I walks through the doors

Anyone who has tried to stop using drugs, and can't, knows the struggle that ensues between the will and the body's cravings. Getting the help you need starts with finding out what types of treatment options are available. Get Treatment for All Your Co-Occurring Problems Co-occurring problems - also known as a dual diagnosis issues - involve someone having a drug or alcohol addiction and a mental health problem at the same time. Any type of mental health problem can co-exist with addiction, some of which include depression, anxiety and eating disorders. It's not uncommon for someone to seek treatment for an addiction and not the other problem, which increases the likelihood of relapse as symptoms of mental or emotional distress can trigger drug-using behaviors. *Treatment Program Requirements for Treating Co-Occurring Problems Not all drug treatment programs offer the same types of services so it's important to find out whether a program is set up to treat co-occurring problems. According to the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, certain processes must be in place in order for a program to treat someone with a dual diagnosis effectively. Some of these processes include:
  • A thorough assessment process
  • Regular evaluation intervals during treatment
  • Aftercare services
