Verify your coverageMy husband is a graduate of the Life Transformation Recovery program. I am forever grateful for LTR for providing a second chance for him. He was able to overcome his addition, work through and heal his hurts and pains, and strengthen his relationship with Jesus Christ. We have a very healthy, open and honest marriage. Thank you LTR for your support and care for my husband, I wouldn\'t have met him without you!
Definitely great at combining 12-step and holistic treatments, it's not an all or nothing approach, and each person is treated uniquely. It's also a pretty affordable facility as well. It's a nice environment in general, but some of the furnishings are a bit dated. This was my 3rd attempt at treatment, and it was way different than the first 2 places I went. From the first day I was treated as a unique individual and was introduced to new recovery approaches in a way that seemed very inviting. They also went beyond just treatment and helped me focus on life issues that were causing me problems too!
Strength:The faith based programs and the accountability you are held to. weakness: The staff are not consistent and are not trained in dealing with people coming off drugs and that have mental issues also. It was a really great place when I went in 2 years ago but since then it has gone down hill they tend to play favorites and it seems as if the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. There is no consistency there and when someone truly needs the help and knows if they leave they will relapse the staff doesn't care I would definitely recommend looking into more caring and understanding facilities then Gospel rescue mission. I was once very proud of the work they did there but now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
