I would prefer not to disclose the details of my experience with this facility. I can say, however, that I was given helpful treatment. I would urge anyone who is struggling with any psychiatric crisis to go to the University of New Mexico Mental Health Center.

Able to somewhat stabilize the patient in three to five days. No follow through with staff UNM is trying to change, but most of the mental health patients suffer from a substance abuse issue as well there needs to be a program set up to address both issues.
