About The Center: A Place of Hope

Located in Edmonds near Puget Sound, The Center: A Place of HOPE is a nationally recognized mental health treatment center founded by Dr. Gregory Jantz. The Center helps people reclaim their lives through compassionate, clinically grounded, personalized care in a safe, supportive, and confidential setting. Personalized Treatment Programs The Center uses a Whole Person Care approach that addresses emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual health. Their model focuses on treating the whole person, not just symptoms, and is designed to support meaningful, long-term recovery. Care is thoughtfully tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and story. The Center’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides structured, intensive support in a comfortable, home-like environment. Most programs last approximately 4 weeks, though each client’s experience is individualized based on their needs and progress. Clients typically participate in programming 6 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday–Saturday. A Team Approach to Healing The Center’s multidisciplinary team includes licensed counselors, psychiatrists, dietitians, wellness professionals, and support staff. Together, they provide compassionate, individualized care for clients seeking support for mental health, substance use, eating disorders, and co-occurring concerns and are committed to walking alongside each individual with dignity, compassion, and hope throughout the healing journey.

There were 3 special people here that I want to thank. Nick, each time I was really struggling with something that I felt like I couldn\'t get through on my own, I had a session scheduled with him within a few hours. Each time he helped me walk through my problems, and taught me to use the skills I was learning. France, She was just always there. Her guidance, teaching and even her copious amounts of homework assignments, really helped me rebuild myself. She didn\'t let me avoid what I really wanted to avoid, and instead gave me advice on how to work through what I was feelings, so I could then rejoin my class. Kaitie, She has been incredibly helpful with my weekly testosterone shots. I told her the first time that I have a needle phobia, but that I wanted to learn to give the shots to myself by the time I left the center. She has been very encouraging the whole way, and I\'ve made a lot of progress with calming down for my shots.

I went to The Center, desperate for anything that could help me, but not really believing that I could be helped. Nothing else worked, I didn\'t know what else to do, or where else to turn to. What I found when I got there was instant acceptance and a beginning to healing. No judgement for who I am or the decisions that I have made. I found myself there. I found my self-confidence, self-worth, and finally I found an understanding of why I am the way I am, which is helping me discover who I truly am.

They were AMAZING. I can\'t say enough great things about Karen, Janine, Katy and Katie, and Shannon. I also loved my faith classes with France and Renee. Special shoutout to Katy for helping me try new foods and battle my ARFID. She always made me feel comfortable and safe, and I was always so confident and proud of myself when leaving those sessions. Thank you so much for helping me do the work!
