My friend came to The Rose House after attending detox. She came to get over her addiction. She found help, love, reassurance, coping skills, counselor, help, a job. And returned to society better then when she went in. She overcame addiction.
We were excited to send our daughter to Rose House in Lafayette. She and her group were assigned a woman just hired from California. My daughter had stories to tell me, but I took them with a grain of salt. After Ashley's "graduation " we met with several in her group. The stories were all true. The therapist was a huge detriment to the girls recovery. She was fired right after Ashley's graduation. I complained and gave examples and was never offered any kind of compensation for the huge amount of money wasted there . They did admit to complaints and the firing, but it was like, "Oh well. Sorry"!!
