About Recovery Ways at Copper Hills

Recovery Ways at Copper Hills is located about 20 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. They treat adults 18+ with addiction, primary mental health conditions (no substance use diagnosis required), or co-occurring disorders (dual diagnosis). A medical provider sees every patient within 24 hours of admission, and a psychiatric provider within 72 hours. The campus also has 24-hour on-site nursing. Treat Addiction and Mental Health Together The program combines therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and internal family systems (IFS) with sensory integration and outdoor recreation therapy in the Wasatch Mountains. Find Tracks for Specific Groups Recovery Ways offers tracks for specific groups. Valor Healing serves military members, veterans, firefighters, and protective services workers. Other tracks serve flight attendants, miners and construction workers, railroad workers, and LGBTQ+ clients. Young adults ages 18 to 30 and adults over 30 each have their own track. Stay Connected After Treatment The Family Circle program brings loved ones into the treatment process. After treatment, clients can join the Recovery Ways alumni program for ongoing support.
