Mountain Laurel Recovery Center focuses on treating alcohol and drug addictions, as well as the co-occurring mental health disorders associated with them. They also offer on-site detoxification for clients suffering from opiate, alcohol, and benzodiazepine dependence. Mountain Laurel Recovery Center uses evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) while also implementing aspects of 12-Step recovery. Clients receive individualized, group, and family therapy sessions. An individual session is required at minimum once a week but can also be on an as needed basis. The accommodations are gender-specific. For a 30 day stay with detox, the general cost is $18,000. Without the detox, the 30 day stay is $15,000. There is a gym on-site and clients are encouraged and expected to exercise, as well as participate in yoga and meditation as part of the recovery process. 3 meals a day are provided featuring a variety of local cuisines and are prepared by an Executive Chef. Clients learn to make health choices for their bodies through nutrition and it is an important part of the holistic approach to recovery.

Keep looking at others places. This is absolutely horrible. Dirty, incompetent staff, no treatment. You are able to use drugs, have sex with other clients, eat, smoke and eat wherever you want. This place is ridiculous!
