I worked at MHS for about 6 months in a position where I had one on one interaction with clients. During the first few weeks of the Covid 19 outbreak the management was especially inept and had made it abundantly clear that their primary focus was on bringing in as much money as possible rather than promoting a safe environment. It was said time and again that if the larger men’s unit were to have to close due to covid positive cases, that the economic effects would be catastrophic. In May, a client of mine was being ushered out of the facility quietly but before he left, he told me he was being discharged due to testing covid positive. I reported my possible exposure to both my coworkers and management. A few days later I was terminated
For very questionable reasons. Obviously this was due to me blowing the whistle so to speak...avoid this place at all costs!
