Areas of Specialization
  • Medical Detoxification
Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
  • Dual Diagnosis/Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment
These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.

This place is not very effective, I agree with another former resident, it is one long AA meeting. All the staff seem to be addicts or former addicts which helps with empathy. They are also all about your insurance and money. The facility is by no way diverse in the clients or staff, not even the kitchen staff. I do not see that all the clients are treated the same. The people who were addicted with street drugs were treated with kid gloves, and get away with many bad behaviors while others with just alcohol addiction were given less consideration. The place is also very unsanitary, There is only one restroom in the main lobby for guest, clients and staff, and it is always filthy, you are given no real cleaning products to clean your assigned work duties, just Lysol. at the time i was there is the fall of 2019 I was 1 of only 3 clients of color that resided there. I did find the nursing staff to often be fairly caring. Please do your research thoroughly when looking for a treatment facility for yourself or loved one
